Helen Harrison, Lead Home Enteral Tube Feeding Dietitian, Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals.
Helen is a Paediatric Home Enteral Feeding Dietitian who enjoys all aspects of community home enteral tube feeding and multidisciplinary working. She is particularly interested in sustainability, research and quality improvement. Helen's presentation will focus on 'Introducing the TREAT pathway. A tube reduction pathway for paediatric service users in Newcastle Upon Tyne who are enterally fed with minimal/no oral dietary intake.'
Shona Wells, Third year Dietetics Student, Newcastle University
Shona is a third year dietetics student at Newcastle University and the BDA student champion of 2024. Shona started studying dietetics as a career change and has an interest in public health. She has worked on a number of public health projects alongside her university course. She will be speaking about her recent internship as a researcher studying food insecurity and liver disease.
