Helen has worked in all specialties of dietetics throughout her years as a private dietitian and in the NHS. Having led the dietetic service in a large foundation trust she fully understands the importance of nutrition in both health and illness.  Combined with a degree in sport science she has a very good understanding of how the body works, its requirements for function, how it interacts with the brain and the practicalities of our everyday lives and choices. She is passionate about educating on nutrition for health and function across all conditions and always with a focus on building a healthy relationship with food. More recently she has co-established Kent Family Medical, a medical clinic dedicated to collaborative and holistic care. Working with General Practitioners and other AHP’s to provide tailored and seamless healthcare and what is best for the individual.

Helen is also part of My Weight Clinic, having experienced the importance of varying strategies to success, she is working with a health coach.  This provides a dedicated weight management service across multiple platforms to ensure access and accountability for all clients.  Emphasising the importance of techniques that work for each individual.

To enable her to reach a wider audience and provide information on nutrition and health she delivers educational workshops and events to businesses keen on improving their wellbeing.

As a mum of 2 very active boys and 2 crazy dogs, Helen continues to work part time in the NHS, as well as privately, and fully understands the difficulties in managing our nutrition and health in a world full of mixed messages and with very limited time to focus on ourselves.
