I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council with over 15 years experience working in the National Health Service (NHS) across a wide variety of clinical areas in leading teaching hospitals in Liverpool and London.
I have worked as a Highly Specialist Dietitian in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) since 2010 with responsibility for the dietary management of the inpatient and outpatient dietetic service for adolescents and adults with IBD in a large London Teaching Hospital. I conduct regular outpatient clinics for patients with Coeliac Disease.
I completed specialist training at King’s College on delivering the low FODMAP diet which is an evidence based treatment for functional gut disorders. I have over 11 years experience delivering the low FODMAP diet in functional GI disorders in both the NHS and private practice setting. I set up a new dietetic service for patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome to deliver the low FODMAP diet at a large teaching hospital in Liverpool.
I have experience as an Honorary Lecturer at London Metropolitan University and University College London on the dietary management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome
I am the BDA representative for IBD UK and contributed to the updated IBD standards published in Frontline Gastroenterology. I have experience contributing to book chapters and dietetic magazines. I am lead author for two papers published in peer reviewed journals.
I am available for individual appointments virtually, via video link or via telephone throughout the UK. On request in person appointments can be arranged in central and south East London.
