I Qualified as a Dietitian with a Bsc(Hons ) Nutrition and Dietetics in 1997 from University of Wales . I have 25 years professional dietetic experience and am Highly specialised in Mental health and Nutrition . I am particularly sensitive and experienced in dietary issues and nutritional education to address issues relating to Eating disorders ( Obesity, Binge eating , Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia ,OSFED ,ARFID and REDS) providing constructive practical Nutritional support in a compassionate and effective way .
I have personal and professional experience in working with people on the Autistic spectrum and those with Sensory processing difficulties. I can work with Adults and Young people providing Nutritional education , practical resources , meal planning and support on a one to one , family or group basis . I am trained in Sequential and Oral Sensory feeding and am a registered therapist to practice using this model of care .
I am an avid runner and have a knowledge of sports nutrition especially when related to low weight, eating disorders or disordered eating. I continue to work within the NHS which ensures I am up to to date with research and practice ,evidence based care is important to me .Please contact me if there are any issues relating to nutrition and mental health which effect you or a family member, pupil, work colleague etc that you would like support with .
