Alice Murray-gourlay
After graduating in 2015, I worked as a dietitian across several clinical areas (IBS, Oncology, Diabetes, Coeliac Disease, Malnutrition) and then specialised within disordered eating and behaviour change. Initially I worked within an eating disorder and mental health unit before moving in to a weight management and bariatric surgery service.
Since completion of my sports nutrition MSc I have worked at Sport Wales. I combine my interest in performance nutrition with my clinical insight to support athletes with unhelpful eating behaviours and behaviour change to optimise their performance.
I believe in a person centred approach and utilise cognitive behavioural therapy and motivational interviewing strategies to support individuals and groups to establish what is important to them to promote change.
