I have 20 years dietetic experience in clinical practice, specifically in the NHS where I worked in a variety of settings, most notably in an acute hospital as a Specialist Oncology Dietitian for 16 years, working in radiotherapy & chemotherapy unit and MDT clinics, especially head and neck, Upper GI Lower GI. During that time, I also gained expertise in parenteral and enteral nutrition support and critical care.
I was Professional Lead for Dietetics for 13 years, whilst maintaining a clinical caseload. I therefore have vast experience in clinical and professional leadership, project management, service evaluation and audit, service development, quality improvement initiatives, people development, coaching, mentoring and lecturing.
I also worked in paediatric dietetics for 4 years within the NHS, seeing children with a range of conditions including, food allergies, picky eating, faltering growth and home enteral nutrition.
I have a post graduate certificate in Sports Nutrition from St. Mary's University Twickenham, fulfilling a lifelong interest & passion in supporting athletes and teams in sports nutrition.
I have my private practice where I support people with a range of conditions, but I have special interests in oncology (at any stage of treatment or beyond treatment), sports nutrition and paediatrics. I am also enjoy writing opportunities. I am able to offer 1:1 online and telephone appointments during evenings and weekends and I welcome enquiries.
