Graduate registration

If you haven’t already, please view the routes to registration and required qualifications to help you decide which category of registration you should apply for.

Within Graduate registration, the route by which you can apply will depend on whether you have completed an SENR-accredited course or non-SENR-accredited course. The two routes are outlined below.

You can find a list of the SENR-accredited courses here. You must have completed a course that had SENR accreditation at the time that you were awarded your qualification. We are unable to recognise accreditation retrospectively.

If you are an HCPC registered dietitian you will need to follow a different process to join the graduate register - find out more here.

Graduate registration is for a maximum period of three years, by which time the registrant will be required to demonstrate the requirements for practitioner registration or be removed from the Graduate register.

It is your responsibility to begin the practitioner application process within an appropriate time frame to ensure your registration does not lapse.

SENR-accredited courses

Students graduating from an SENR-accredited course with an MSc (180 credits) will be eligible to join the SENR Graduate register.

How to apply if you have graduated from an SENR-accredited course
