About us

The BDA Autism (all age) sub-group is part of the Paediatric specialist group. The committee is formed of dietitians who worked in collaboration with autistic people or have a specialist interest in autism, and a “non dietetic” expert by experience advisor. The committee is represented by dietitians from across the UK.

We invite more dietitians from across the UK to join the group as its a great way to network, learn more and share experiences. You can join the sub-group, free of charge by signing up to any of the BDA specialist groups. Please login to your myBDA profile to add it to your membership.

The group has a private facebook group which you can join at www.facebook.com/groups/BDAautism

We are keen to work alongside professional bodies and associations, striving to promoting excellent care to autistic people. We welcome collaborative working and aim to ensure accurate information is being provided to this population.
