We have developed a short general advice sheet for Food Banks catering for clients with Kidney Disease in conjunction with Kidney Kitchen. The guidance is downloadable for dietitians to use, and patients can also access this through the Kidney Kitchen website in their Eat Well Spend Less recipes and tips magazine. The Food Bank Guidance has been circulated to The Trussell Trust, and an association for Independant Food Banks. We are aiming to protect our patient's dignity, if they wish, by making the Food Bank advice as widely available as possible. This booklet contains the recipes alongside tips and other budget concious information, with Kidney Disease in mind.
