"The BDA website was a great source of information during my degree application process, and I knew that I wanted to join the organisation when I became a dietetic student." - John Budding, University of Nottingham
“I joined the BDA as a postgraduate student and the support provided by the association is incredible! There's so many resources which will be invaluable for me during placements, exams, and dietetic practices in the future. I would highly recommend all dietetics students to join the BDA to become part of the professional dietetic community.” - Emma Langan, University of Chester
"Being a BDA member has provided me with a wealth of industry knowledge which has helped me become more involved within dietetics. It lead me to becoming the student rep for my BDA East of Scotland Branch." - Gemma Holloway, Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh
"I’m a BDA member as I find the events to be great opportunities for students to network and learn further information on a range of interesting topics. Student membership also entitles me to free access to online resources, such as PEN and Dietetics Today." - Claire Irlam, Coventry University
"I signed up as the first year was free and I thought it was worthwhile paying for my subsequent years. I really value Dietetics Today, seeing what is going on in the profession and attending events such as BDA Live. Being a student member keeps me up-to-date with dietetics." - Cheryl Coles, University of Plymouth
*FREE STUDENT MEMBERSHIP relates to both Undergraduate and Postgraduate first year students paying by Direct Debit only. Second, third and fourth year groups are provided with very heavily subsidised BDA membership (discounted by almost 90% at just £41 per year). BDA Student Membership runs annually from 1 October - 30 September or 1 February - 31 January depending on your course start date.
