Our specialist groups offer the most current information, leadership, experience and expertise to members working or specialising in a range of professional areas. If you are an expert dietitian working in a specialist area, a new graduate or student keen to learn more about a new area, joining a specialist group will help you develop your career.

Our 13 branches are geographically spread across the UK and offer members excellent CPD and networking events in their local areas. As the BDA's regional representatives, branches provide a local focus for BDA activity and communication.

Volunteering Opportunities

Each specialist group and branch is run by a committee of motivated and passionate volunteer members. They give their time and expertise, to ensure that the profession develops and advances through education, networking and resource development.
