Our communities

As the dietetic profession is relatively small, it’s in all of the workforce's best interests to represent and promote the great work of the profession. This often means widening social circles, reach and influence, and taking advantage of every possible networking opportunity.

With over 11,000 members, the BDA member community has a strong and vital voice, and members are invited and encouraged to network, share knowledge and best practice and raise awareness of what's new across the profession.

Social

Join the conversation and use the evidence-base to ensure the expert dietetic voice is heard and counteract the growing 'noise' on social media. Like, connect, share and follow us and your dietetic peers across a variety of social channels. Utilise the power of social to raise awareness of the impact and value of the dietetic profession.

Volunteer

With over 1,000 members undertaking vital volunteer roles for us and gaining invaluable experience and CPD in return, why not take a look at what opportunities are out there and how you can get involved?

Member Forums

Our Member Forums are a great way for groups of members to network or ask a question in a closed environment dedicated to their community. Many of our specialist groups and branches have active threads and discussion areas to share updates across the specialist area/region.

I wanted to be part of the bigger dietetic picture, and to be part of a community of Dietitians to develop in my career.
