Christina Evwierhoma
I am an experienced specialist dietitian with a strong background in acute clinical settings in both inpatient and outpatient environments. I have worked in large NHS teaching hospitals as well as smaller units.
I have expertise in a variety of specialist areas including general dietetics, chronic kidney disease, eating disorders, nutrition support (malnutrition), enteral tube feeding, gastroenterology including coeliac disease, IBS, liver disease, pancreatic disease, neurology, CVD, oncology and orthopaediatics.
Being a strong communicator and educator are key strengths of mine. I have provided education sessions to patients to help improve their health and well-being and to staff to improve patient care and increase nutrition knowledge. I am able to develop and deliver innovative education learnt through previous experience, training and my role as a senior lecturer.
My main clinical specialities are broad but include stroke and kidney health and I can work with you to manage your condition and symptoms whilst enjoying a well-balanced diet. I am passionate about helping people to develop a positive relationship with food to better their health and well being. I have undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in psychology which support my practice.
From my broad clinical experience I am able to take a holistic approach to your care. I offer bespoke and evidence-based nutrition advice to help clients make informed decisions for your health and well-being so that you can achieve your health goals.
