Sadia Latimer
Sadia Latimer is an experienced gastroenterology dietitian registered with the Health Care Professional Council and a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
She has seventeen years of postgraduate experience in the National Health Service (NHS) across a wide variety of clinical settings, specialising in digestive health conditions in 2010.
Her main areas of interest are Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Coeliac disease. She has undertaken specialist training at King’s College on the low FODMAP diet, which is an effective treatment for functional bowel disorders like IBS. She has successfully run specialist dietetic led clinics for coeliac disease, and functional bowel disorders in the NHS within the hospital and community settings.
Her clinical expertise also includes lactose intolerance, bile salt malabsorption, constipation, diverticular disease, and inflammatory bowel disease.
She is currently working as a private practice gastroenterology dietitian in Altrincham, South She is a member of the Freelance Dietitian, and Gastroenterology Specialist Groups of the BDA.
Her friendly, empathetic and holistic approach enables her to provide individualised evidence-based dietary modification advice and treatment plans for her clients to treat their condition, whilst ensuring a balanced diet and preventing nutritional deficiencies.
